The chicken and the egg dilemma: which came first?
A question that has always puzzled people 🤔 for about two thousand years, when it was raised by Greek philosophers, in an attempt to shed light on “causality”, to clarify the relationship between events (cause and effect), and here we can note three opinions on the subject:

A rare fossilized Theropoda dinosaur nest in Canada has helped answer this question. The species dates back 150 million years. The female carnivorous dinosaur lay on top of her eggs in the nest about 77 million years ago on the sands of a river bank. When the water level rose, the female dinosaur appears to have fled and abandoned her eggs before they could hatch. Darla Zelenitsky, a paleontology professor at the University of Calgary in Canada, who was the first to closely analyze the dinosaur nest, said: “Dinosaurs were building nests like birds, and they were laying eggs long before modern birds (including chickens) began. The egg🐣 came before the chicken, which evolved long after carnivorous dinosaurs laid eggs. So the dilemma becomes, which came first, the egg🥚 or the dinosaur🦖.” 😅

British scientists from the Universities of Sheffield and Warwick indicated that the chicken 🐓 came first. The research they conducted showed that the formation of the eggshell depends on a protein called OC17, which is only found in the ovary of the chicken. This is consistent with religious views that spoke of the beginning of creation, and that the pairs were created first (the rooster and the hen).
Physicists from the University of Queensland and the Neil Institute pointed out that both could come first, meaning that the chicken and the egg could appear together at the same time. The scientists explained that when it comes to quantum physics, cause and effect are not always directly related, meaning that one does not necessarily lead directly to the other. Dr. Jacqui Romero from the Australian Research Council said, “The strangeness of quantum mechanics is that events can happen without a specific order.” For example, if your daily commute to work involves taking a bus and a train, you will usually take the bus🚌 then the train🚝 or vice versa🚝 then 🚌. In our experiment, either event could happen first, meaning that the two things could happen together in identical time agreement, meaning that one could ride the train and the bus at a parallel time😵, referring to the theory of relativity. Romero pointed out that this system is called “an undetermined random system”.
