In the introduction of this series we mentioned the situation between three teams in the Premier League (Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea), where we indicated that the relations between the three clubs (and their fans) are unfriendly (negative), noting that the relationship was more “unfriendly” between Liverpool and Manchester United, as the hatred and enmity between the two teams’ cities began in the nineteenth century for non-sporting reasons (related to the Industrial Revolution) and later moved to the sports field, and here appeared the obvious question: If a match was played between two of the three teams, where will the preferences of the third team and its fans tend to?
